July 24, 2013 Cross Countrying from Cambodia to Malaysia
The Siem Reap airport is so near from the city center. Our tuktuk driver Mr. Sam fetched us at the hotel at around 7AM. Before checking I took some photos first on the airport.
We checked-in by 730AM at the Air Asia counter with our next destination Kuala, Lumpur. Kuala Lumpur was our jump off point to Melaka which was part of the travel itinerary.
After checking in, we had filled out the immigration card and had coffee at a nearby cafe. The airport is a small one only but it was so organized. Wifi was good and there was even a PC that can be use for surfing the internet. And it's free.
Then it was time to board the plane come 830AM. Travel time was 3hrs to KL where I spent the rest of the flight sleeping.
I had so much of Siem Reaps history for two days and now another city filled with culture is about to seen. Follow the rest of story on the next blog on this 5 city series trip.

Through travel I first became aware of the outside world; it was through travel that I found my own introspective way into becoming a part of it.
